CONFIDENTIAL likes to get about a bit, especially in search of good new music, so we headed down to Brighton last weekend for the Great Escape Festival.
And we've brought you back a presents - an exclusive backstage performance from Sydney four-piece The Jezabels.
Since releasing their second EP, She’s So Hard, in November 2009, the band have toured all over the shop and supporteed Tegan & Sara, Katie Noonan and Josh Pyke, as well as being headliners in their own right.
(selling out shows nationally in the process). They’ve watched Hurt Me, the lead single from She’s So Hard, receive heavy rotation on radio in Australia and abroad, a feat also achieved by its follow-up, Easy To Love. Fittingly, The Jezabels have seen their fanbase grow every step of the way – sometimes in the most unexpected places.
The band are vocalist Hayley Mary, keyboardist Heather Shannon, guitarist Sam Lockwood and drummer Nik Kaloper, and their most recent EP, Dark Storm, has been making a few waves.
