EVERY year the best of the Leeds retail sector put on their gladrags and attend The Leeds Retail Awards, and this year’s competition is tougher than ever.
Last year saw 250 people walk the red carpet at the lavish Royal Armouries event – a prestigious awards ceremony celebrating the very best shops that the city has to offer.
The Leeds Retail Awards is voted for in twenty categories by the general public online, which means that the highly coveted trophies are considered a vote of approval by Leeds shoppers to the eager attendees.
High street giants H&M and Topman were amongst the winners last year whilst smaller retailers OK Comics and Vintage Wardrobe also managed to get their hands on awards.
Notable nominees this year includes: James Steward (Local Designer), Mighty Baby (Vintage) and Bonbons of Leeds (Specialist Retailer).
