BeaconsFest Fundraising Benefit Announced

THE BRUDENELL Social Club team have pulled together two fundraisers to help the organisers of the Beacons Festival that was washed out yesterday.

The club has been a massive supporter of the new North Yorkshire festival, which was called off on safety grounds when the site was flooded after heavy rain.

The club has pulled together two high quality bills on Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday’s bill includes Mazes, Eagulls, Hookworms, Brown Brogues, Wonderswan, Jufface, Moody Gowns and the Soul Circle Gang.

On Sunday bands helping out include Runners, That Fucking Tank, Yugoslavian Boys, Echo Lake, Just Handshakes We’re British and Pengilly’s.

Both days are entry but donations will be appreciated.

“The cancellation of Beacons Festival is a nightmare for Yorkshire music fans, so full marks to Nathan and the Brudenell team for pulling together such a quality bill to help out,” says Leeds Confidential editor Simon Binns.

“They says donations will be appreciated but we hope that everyone who turns out will give generously in aid of a good cause while enjoying some great bands.”
