Element Jewellery is giving one person the chance to have their own charm design made and sold in their flagship store in Hebden Bridge West Yorkshire, and online this August.
The competition gives people a chance to show off their talents. Designing a charm involves skill, not only does it need to look good but they also need to consider the scale of their design and just how practical it will be to create and to wear potentially every day.
The winner and two runners up will be selected by a judging panel, consisting of the Element team and well renowned local jeweller Catherine Woodall. First prize is a silver bracelet with your very own charm attached, hand-made by an Element jeweller. Two runners up will also receive their own hand-made charm.
Entrants are encouraged to think outside the box and design their charm based on whatever inspires them. It’s the 500 year anniversary of Hebden Bridge in West Yorkshire, and Element wanted to join in the festivities by celebrating the creativity of their customers.

All entrants of the competition are invited to a prize giving event at the Hebden Bridge store on Saturday 14 August at midday, where the winner and two runners up will be announced. They will be awarded with their charm designs made in silver by Element. Summer refreshments will also be served.
All ages are welcome to enter this competition. Entries must be received by 5pm on Saturday 24 July 2010.
All you need to do is draw or make a model of your charm. The drawing, model, or photograph can be any scale, but please keep in mind that the actual charm will be no larger than a mouse’s ear (approximately 12mm x 20mm). Upon entering you will need to provide Element Jewellery with your name, address, email address and telephone number.
